The Bookish Box: June Unboxing

I know I usually post on Wednesday, but my father had surgery yesterday. Since it took longer than expected I just decided to post today. The good news is everything went great! So today I’m celebrating with a June unboxing. It is The Bookish Box June box. I know it’s August. The company contacted us an let us know that there was a glitch in their system and the July boxes were delayed. They kept us super informed during the delay. I ordered adult box, but I ended up with the young adult box. I was a little bummed at first, until I saw that it was A Court of Thorns and Roses themed. So even through the mistakes, I loved the box that I received.

The Goodies

Alchemy and Ink designed this beautiful bookmark. It is inspired by Elain and Lucien.

These tarot cards were designed by Dark and Beautiful Art. They are gorgeous depictions of Lucien, Tamlin, and Rhysand.

This candle is AMAZING. It smells so good. It was made by The Bookish Shop.

Dust and Pages designed this gorgeous enamel pin. It features the Cauldron of the Blessed.

This pendant is my favorite item in the whole box. It is so delicate and perfect.

I love this picture of Rhysand and Feyre. I really want to frame it. It was designed by Diana Dworak.

The picture does not capture the beauty of this mug. It is so iridescent. I can’t wait to use it.

I love this Prythian tapestery designed by In the Reads.

The Book

The exclusive Bookish Box dust jacket designed by @katja.perez

Synopsis:

One cold, crisp night, Jack Sommers was faced with a choice—live forever according to the ancient, magical rules of Gaia, or die.

Jack chose to live, and in exchange, he became a Winter—an immortal physical embodiment of the season on Earth. Every year, he must hunt the Season who comes before him. Summer kills Spring. Autumn kills Summer. Winter kills Autumn. And Spring kills Winter.

Jack and Fleur, a Winter and a Spring, fall for each other against all odds. To be together, they’ll have to escape the cycle that’s been forcing them apart. But their creator won’t let them go without a fight

This book sounds so interesting. I am really excited to read it. I want to love fantasy again.
