Wicked Deep is a ghost story and witch hunt all rolled into one. The town of Sparrow is haunted by three sisters who were sentenced to death on charges of witchcraft. Every summer the witches return to posses the body of a girl so they can seek their revenge. The story is told through the eyes of Penny Talbot, a local girl that has experienced the town curse often. However, this year will be different.

This book has mixed reviews, but I really enjoyed it.

Rooms airs out all the dark secrets of the Walker family. Patriarch, Richard Walker, passed away and his estranged family has inherited his country home.Little do they know, they are being watched by former residents. Their hidden horrible acts are not as private as they think. The ghosts also have a rocky past as well.

You will not like the characters in this book. They are all flawed. It is gritty and real, but the thought of someone watching my private moments is unsettling.

Thirteen Alabama Ghosts and Jeffry is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about ghost stories. Jeffrey haunts the Windham home in Selma, Alabama. Mrs. Windham travels the state writing about other ghosts that reside in Alabama. Jeffrey is usually in tow.

There are several versions of this book based in Georgia, Mississippi, etc., but of course my favorite is Alabama. It combines history and the paranormal and I just love it. My 6th grade history teacher read it to us on Halloween. I checked it out at the library ever year of middle school. Now, years later, I am glad to finally have my hands on a copy.
