Book Character Halloween Costume Ideas

Halloween is slowly creeping up on us. It’s just a few days away, and I am ashamed to admit that I haven’t even picked out a costume. I would like to find a bookish character to dress as. Here are a few options that I am thinking about. If you want to know what each character looks like click their names, and it will take you to a picture of them.

Mia Corvere

Mia Corvere is from The Nevernight Chronicles. It is an awesome series. Mia is such a strong female, and I love her. I also really love Mr. Kindly, but I haven’t quite figured out how to dress up as a shadow cat, haha. Mia would be fun to dress up as. I love the style that Jay Kristoff has written for her.

Manon

Manon is an Ironteeth Witch from The Throne of Glass series. I’m just so interest in her as a whole. She has an interesting heritage, and great character growth. I really wish there was a spin-off series based on her. I’m a little iffy on dressing as her though because I can’t pull off platinum hair.

Bryce Quinlan

Yet another Sarah J Maas character, but this one is from House of Earth and Blood. I love all of her female characters. Bryce happens to be on of my favorite lead characters. You never know what you’re going to get with Bryce. I underestimated her in the beginning of the book, but she turned out to be so much more that I ever expected. Bryce could possibly be on the top of my list. I love her style, and I definitely miss having red hair. It was one of my favorite hair colors. However, I would have to work on the tan a little bit. I’m kind of pasty right now.

I really should have named this post “What Sarah J Maas Character Should I Be for Halloween.” Mia is the only one who is not set in a Maas book, but she has all the qualities I love in Maas’s characters. She is a little bit more morally gray, and I think that makes her interesting.

Who do you want to be for Halloween? Do you have your costume planned? Let me know in the comments.
