Decorating for Halloween is on one of my favorite things to do. I love when stores start putting out all of their Halloween decorations. I have added a few things to my collection this year, and I wanted to show them to you. And I will link what decorations I can throughout the post if you want to check them out. Just click on the pictures.
My favorite spot in the house is the mantle above my fireplace. I love decorating it. This year I found a few bookish things at Michael’s. They had the best selection of decorations this year.
Usually, I love Target’s selection, but the one near me didn’t have much this year. Almost all of the shelves were empty. However, I did love the paper bats that I found in the dollar section. There were tons in the pack, so I should have some for next year as well. Oh, I also bought the caldron string lights from Target. I couldn’t link them because I couldn’t find them. But they had a great selection of similar items. They had a lot of stuff online that I wish they had in store.
The Buffet Table
The last area that I decorated was my buffet table. It is one of the centerpieces of my house. I still have just a little bit that I want to work on. I had these cool beakers that I want to fill with colored marbles to make them look like they are filled with potions. It will also help them stand out more. My husband bought the painting at Walmart last year. The trees and black pumpkins came from Target last year as well.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my Halloween decorations. I had fun making this post. I’m ready to finish setting my library room up, so that I can start decorating it also! I mean I do need more room for my growing collection.
