Happy Labor Day! I can’t believe it is already so late in the year. It’s really time to start thinking about the end of year plans, which is crazy. I saw this tag on Hannah’s Bookshelf and she invited me to participate. So here are the 10 books that I want to read before the end of the year. Fair warning, you’ve seen all of them before, because I am a procrastinator.
Winter of the World
Winter of the World is a new read for me. I would like to finish the entire series before the end of the year, but I will be lucky to even finish this book. They are massive books that are highly detailed. It definitely takes some time to read. You really have to focus, but the pay-off is totally worth it.
Seige and Storm
I bought SiegeandStorm in my Chattanooga Book Haul. The Grishaverse Series has been on my tbr forever. I enjoyed the first book, but I haven’t gotten around to this one. Hopefully, I can fit it in soon.
The Starless Sea
I started reading The Starless Sea back in January. Around that time I got really sick and a book slump hit me. I just couldn’t connect with it. I hope to pick it back up and give it another chance.
Wytches is another book I bought in my Chattanooga Book Haul. I didn’t know a lot about it, but I thought it sounded interesting. I hope to read it in October. It sounds like it would be perfect for spooky season.
The Queen of Nothing
I am happy to report that I am reading The Queen of Nothing right now. I am no longer procrastinating. Hopefully, I will finish it tonight. I am really loving it. Maybe this will get me back in the mood for fantasy.
The Great Alone
The Great Alone isn’t something I usually gravitate toward, but it sounded intriguing. I think it will be a great winter read.
I’ve started Midnight Sun. To be honest, I haven’t enjoyed it. I definitely want to finish it, so I’m not giving up just yet.
Troubled Blood is coming out in September. I am so excited to read it. This has been one of my favorite series for a while. Hoping this one is just as good.
The Only Good Indians
I have wanted to read The Only Good Indians for a while now. I don’t know why I keep putting it off. Hopefully, I can get to it before the end of the year.
The 10 Books I Want to Read Before the End of the Year Challenge was a lot of fun. If you want to play along I tag you. If you do the tag be sure to let me know! I’d love to see your answers.
