Books I Received at Christmas

I was spoiled this year. I was gifted some great books that I can’t wait to crack open. I am so blessed to have friends and family that were thoughtful enough to get these for me.

My husband knows the way to my heart. He gave me most of these books. I definitely know he reads my blog now because I did not verbally ask for these lol. I made my post Books I’d Love to See Under My Christmas Tree and he used it as a shopping list. I think he’s a keeper, haha. I can’t wait to read this one. My husband and I laughed a long time on Christmas Eve because the chapter titles are awesome. My personal favorite is “Hot Damn and Pass the Pepper Sauce.” As any Southern-born, should I adore pepper sauce. Now I will only ask for pepper sauce using this phrase. I love it. I hope the book is as entertaining.

I got to open this one from my husband a few days early. I was going into a book slump and I wasn’t loving any of the books I picked up. He slipped it under the tree when I wasn’t looking. I think he was mostly tired of hearing me complain about having nothing to read, haha. I squealed when I opened it because I have wanted to read this for a while. I have already started it and it is great so far.

I received this from a friend from Litsy. We participated in a swap hosted by a member. She was my swap match. I read The Invited by the same author and loved it. I honestly had forgotten I added this to my tbr until I received it. I was so excited and I can’t wait to read it.

I received this from my hubby as well. I loved The Wicked Deep so I knew I had to have this one. It is beautiful.

This is the last one I received from my husband. I don’t have to say much about this one. Everyone knows all the buzz surrounding it. I can’t wait to see if I love it as much as I loved The Night Circus.

The last book I received was this cookbook from my parents. I love The Pioneer Women. Her recipes are delicious. Stay tuned for my January Recipe Taste Test. I have already picked out a tasty looking recipe from this book.

So that is the books I received for Christmas. I so enjoyed Christmas. I hope everyone else had a great Christmas and holiday season! I will be posting everyday until New Years day so subscribe because you don’t want to miss out on the festivities. I love goal setting and wrap ups so I can’t wait.
